"To see children in your dream, signifies your own childlike qualities or a retreat back to a childlike state. It is an extension of your inner child during a time of innocence, purity, simplicity, and a carefree attitude. You may be longing for the past and the chance to satisfy repressed desires and unfulfilled hopes. Take some time off and cater to the inner child within.
...
To save a child, signifies your attempts to save a part of yourself from being destroyed." (http://dreammoods.com/cgibin/searchcsv.pl?method=exact&header=dreamsymbol&search=children)

I rarely walk the city which I live in.
However, yesterday I started off from London Bridge walking all the way through the City and newly discovered (for me) sidestreets reminiscent of my ideas of Europe all the way to Chancery Lane and from there tube and bus to the lovely villages hidden in North London.

To post της ανησυχίας
Λοιπόν γιατί τα πρωινά ξυπνάω με εφιάλτες και τα βράδια δεν μπορώ να σταματήσω να σκέφτομαι ταξίδια;
Γιατί τα απογεύματα δεν μπορώ να συγκεντρωθώ και τα μεσημέρια κάνω τα πάντα για να αποφύγω τη συγκέντρωση;

How Irish Am I?
You're 65% Irish |
![]() You're very Irish, and most likely from Ireland. (And if you're not, you should be!) |
All the Music
I sometimes interpret my life through music.
Sometimes I listen to these god-awful songs, sometimes I listen to cheesy songs, sometimes I listen to pretty songs, sometimes I listen to happy songs.
Yesterday I emailed some of my musical friends and asked for a list of songs that would cheer someone up. Here's what I got:
Somewhere over the rainbow - Keith Jarret
When you're Smiling (the Whole World Smiles With You)
Always Look on the Bright Side of Life
Holiday - Madonna
4 minutes - Madonna
What a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong
The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret - Queens of the Stone Age
Bonito - Jarabe de Palo
With My Own Two Hands - Ben Harper
What's the song you would suggest to cheer someone up and what do you think of this list?

The Queen of Procrastination
I have not done any work in two months.
Maybe I deserved a break, maybe I didn't.
For the last month I have been travelling up and down.
In one and a half months I will be in America.
What do I do during this time?
Work/Study?
Party (like it was 2002)?
Continue doing what I am doing which is nothing?

43 Things
According to the self-help website 43 Things (People have known for years that making a list of goals is the best way to achieve them. But most of us never get around to making a list. 43 Things is great for that! Make a list on 43 Things and see what changes happen in your life. Best of all it’s a way of connecting with other enthusiasts interested in everything from watching a space shuttle launch to grow my own vegetables. So the next time someone asks you, “what do you do?” you can answer with confidence, “I am doing 43 things!”.) the ten most popular goals are:
1. lose weight
2. stop procrastinating
3. fall in love
4. write a book
5. be happy
6. get a tattoo
7. go on a road trip with no predetermined destination
8. drink more water
9. travel the world
10. get married
Makes me think. What is this society and why do I feel so well in it?

F U I'm Drunk - Dropkick Murphys
I bang on the door but she wont let me in
cause you're sick and tired of me reeking of gin
I knock on the doors from the front to the back
you left me a note telling me I should pack
I walk in the bar and the fellas all cheer
hey order me up a whiskey and beer
you ask me why I'm writing this poem
some call it a tavern, but I call it home
Fuck you I'm drunk!
Fuck you I'm drunk!
pour my beer down the sink
I've got more in the trunk
Fuck you I'm drunk!
Fuck you I'm drunk!
and I'm going to be drunk til the next time I'm drunk!
you've given me an option
you say I must choose
between you and the liquor
then I'll take the booze
jump on a bus
turn down to the south side
were I'll sit down an excersise my Irish pride
Fuck you I'm drunk!
Fuck you I'm drunk!
pour my beer down the sink
I've got more in the trunk
Fuck you I'm drunk! (Fuck You)
Fuck you I'm drunk!
and I'm going to be drunk till the next time I'm drunk!

Songs that make hearts tremble
Nick Cave - The Ship Song
Come sail your ships around me
And burn your bridges down.
We make a little history baby
Every time you come around.
Come loose your dogs upon me
And let your hair hang down.
You are a little mystery to me
Every time you come around.
We talk about it all night long
We define our moral ground.
But when I crawl into your arms
Everything comes tumbling down.
Come sail your ships around me
And burn your bridges down.
We make a little history baby
Every time you come around.
Your face has fallen sad now
For you know the time is nigh
When I must remove your wings
And you, you must try to fly.
Come sail your ships around me
And burn your bridges down.
We make a little history baby
Every time you come around.
Come loose your dogs upon me
And let your hair hang down.
You are a little mystery to me
Every time you come around.
Come sail your ships around me
And burn your bridges down.
We make a little history baby
Every time you come around.
Come loose your dogs upon me
And let your hair hang down.
You are a little mystery to me
Every time you come around.
We talk about it all night long
We define our moral ground.
But when I crawl into your arms
Everything comes tumbling down.
Come sail your ships around me
And burn your bridges down.
We make a little history baby
